Eating out in the Philippines – Money talk

Eating out in the Philippines – Money talk

Another month has passed since my last Money-Talk-Blog that was all about grocery prices. This time, like I promised I will talk about eating out in Puerto Galera. I still have no clue what is cheaper: cooking yourself or eating out. The video you are about to watch is an average monday morning, around 10 o’clock, I’m sitting at a small restaurant in town waiting for my breakfast. And this is what it sounds like: So if you ever consider moving to the Philippines, be prepared to deal with a lot of noise. There is karaoke, roosters, noisy traffic, sound blasters…….there is so much noise!

White Beach in Puerto Galera by Night

White Beach in Puerto Galera by Night

During the day it is the fun beach: white sand, palm trees, emerald sea and lots of water activities like: banana boats, jet skies, para sailing and snorkelling. Restaurants, bars and shops all over the place not to mention the beach vendors and massage, manicure, pedicure, and hair braiding offers. Long story short: It is a nice touristic area. At night it all turn into a huge entertainment show palace. Want to eat out on the beach? Tables are all…
